Welcome to Vogelmorn’s Best Coffee
If you haven’t already heard, Vogelmorn Community Group are now running their very own ‘community cafe’ out of the former Bowling Club kitchen! (The same location Damascus still use and The Green Cafe once did.)
We are proud to be serving delicious specialty espresso from Rich Coffee, our most local roastery, based just down the hill in Berhampore. Just like us they have strong community values and are committed to sustainable practices including striving towards zero waste. On this note we won’t be using any disposable cups, so if you’re after takeaway don’t forget your keep cup!
The cafe is lead by the lovely Lily Shanks and will be serving coffee, tea and a delicious variety of scones, cakes and homely soups. The opening hours are 9am to 1pm Wed, Thur, Fri & Sat – but the space will generally be available as a community space in the afternoons too. As always, you are welcome to BYO food or purchase from the DamascusOK takeaway offering and eat it in the cafe space, on the green, in a boat, with a goat, here or there or anywhere.
